Coil type boiler: Revosteam

Revosteam, Coil Type Boiler, is a unique water tube coil type boiler in which water flows inside the tube. It is a Non-IBR steam boiler, skid-mounted and fully automatic type in operation.

It works and gets its name from “Reverse Flow”, which means that flue gases reverse their path when they hit the bottom of the shell. This flow of flue gases ensures flues are highly turbulent which improves the convective heat transfer happening inside the boiler.

Coil fired boiler related FAQ's-

A coil type boiler uses a coil-based design to rapidly heat water and produce steam, making it ideal for quick-start industrial applications.

Coil boilers are widely used in food processing, dairy, pharma, and textile industries where fast steam generation is essential.

A non-IBR boiler is a steam generator that doesn’t require inspection under Indian Boiler Regulation, typically under 25 liters in capacity.

A boiler coil is a tubular heat exchanger inside a boiler that transfers heat from the fuel source to the water to produce steam.

Unlike water tube boilers that store water in drums, coil steam boilers have no drum and generate steam instantly using heated coils.

Coil type boilers offer faster steam generation, compact size, and lower startup time compared to conventional shell-type boilers.

Most coil type boilers, like Thermodyne’s Revosteam, are non-IBR models, ideal for smaller capacities and faster steam cycles.

They are compact, easy to install, have no requirement for IBR inspection, and are suitable for on-demand steam applications.

Revosteam coil type boilers are available from 100 kg/hr to 900 kg/hr, catering to various industry sizes.

Coil type boilers require 60% less space compared to shell type boilers, making them ideal for space-constrained facilities.
